Dinner, Bingo and Pat Sweeney, what more could a person ask for. For those of you who don’t know, John Belushi had not only Jim, as a brother but also the lesser known but still flamboyant brother, PAT! Stay tune for more details…. BINGO!

March 19th 2008 Cleft Palate Fund Benefit

While the number attending this year was perhaps small (40 members and guest), it was one of our better events found within the past three years.  Why, our membership came together and they & our guest all greatly contributed to the event.  Found behind  the bar was Chairman of the Board, Ernie Rose; in the kitchen was Angela Athans, with Gib Pearson, Milt Fillion, and Eric Gonzales assisting.  Conducting the Door Raffle and having solicited and acquired donations from the local business community was Harry Wellman, Bill Clark, Angela Athans, and Mike Costanza.  Providing entertainment was Doug Rose, Cowboy Larry and his group of musicians.  Handling the Pickle Jar was John Miguelgorry.  Most all arrived early and dinner was served on time!   Thanks to Angela, the tables were also decorated and the food was served buffet style with the use of chafing dishes, not to mention there was food left over and everyone had an opportunity to take some home.

Donations received from the community & local businesses to which we hereby gratefully acknowledged:

Angela Athans, Branham Lounge, Doug Rose Productions, Lucky, Harry Wellman, Marlo Flansberg, Mike Costanza, Orchard Hardware Supply, Pearl River Restaurant, Bill Clark, Safeway

To all who participated & donated to our Annual Cleft Palate Charitable Event, we sincerely thank you for making it an outstanding event!
