Dear Members and Friends=

cleft palate occurs in about 1 of every 700 babies and is the forth most
common birth defect.Although we always talk a=

abnormalities, such as missing jaws, nose, ears, protruding teeth, and The NSGW Cleft Palate
Foundation administration overhead is found to be less than 1%.The member=
s of
the Board of Directors of our trust serve on a volunteer basis and do not
receive a salary. There are no paid employees.Essentially 99.4% of all money is used to=
care
for the children (I don’t know of any other charity that has that k=
ind

program, founded in 1953, has enabled us to include the clinics of UC
Hospital, San Francisco, St. John’s Hospital, Santa Monica and Sutt=
er
Memorial, Sacramento.The charitable funds don=
ated
to the hospitals specify that they shall be used for treatment of children
without any overhead costs. The Native Sons of=
the
Golden West feel there is no more worthy cause than to ensure that all
children, of whatever race, creed or color, have the opportunity to hold
their heads up high with out a possible degree of embarrassment. Your Cleft Palate donati=
